Badges

How do badges work?

Badges are little milestones you earn just by doing what you're already doing — practising, playing songs, finishing lessons. No contest, no obligation; more like a backpack full of small reminders of how far you've come.

Eight categories

Badges are split across eight themes. Each theme has several milestones — from "just getting started" to "really stuck with it". Here's exactly what we measure:

  • Lessons

How many lesson steps you've completed

  • Streak

How many days in a row you're active

  • Songs

How many different songs you've opened

  • Quiz

How often you fill in quizzes — higher milestones need a perfect score

  • Collector

How many songs and artists you've marked as favourites

  • Certificates

    How many programs you've completed

  • Explorer

How many different music styles you've tried

  • Loyalty

How long you've been a member

How it looks on screen

On your progress page you won't see all the badges at once — that would just be a wall. We show the badges you already have plus one next milestone per category. Hit that milestone and the next one in that category appears automatically.

Behind the visible badges sits a silhouette cell saying "+X still to discover". That's where the higher milestones live — for anyone who keeps at it for a while. We reveal them step by step so there's always something new waiting for you, without it being overwhelming.

We don't give away all the thresholds for each badge up front. Some are quick to reach, some take weeks, and a few (the "legendary" ones) are about persistence over a year or more. They have slightly thicker edges when you see them — a small hint that they're special.

Not your thing? That's totally fine. The badges sit secondary on your progress page; you don't have to look at them at all to just learn to play.
